Republic Services to Resume Trash Collection in Lafayette

Hurricane Delta forced Republic Services to suspend trash and recycling collection on Friday. Because of the storm, collection is delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. That means that trash for Friday's customers will be picked up on Monday, Then, Monday customers will have their trash picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday customers on Wednesday, and so forth until the end of the week.

This week’s collection schedule:

Monday, October 12: Friday customers

Tuesday, October 13: Monday customers

Wednesday, October 14: Tuesday customers

Thursday, October 15: Wednesday customers

Friday, October 16: Thursday customers

Saturday, October 17: Friday customers
