While most people probably expected the newly signed Saints receiver to make his debut this Sunday versus Cincinnati, that won't be the case. There's a few reasons why.

When you sit down and think about it, it really does make sense for Dez Bryant to sit this Sunday out. He was only signed on Wednesday. That's not even a full week's worth of practice to learn a completely new offense.

Here's the reasonings they're giving for Bryant not to play against the Bengals.

While the Bengals aren't a team to just turn a cheek toward, it would be great if we could see Bryant's debut against the reigning Super Bowl champs the following week. They'll also be back in New Orleans for that game too.
