A Sunday night cyberattack on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was apparently aimed at slowing the response to coronavirus. In a story first reported by Bloomberg, an official says they don't believe the attack affected critical data being used in the response. Hackers apparently tried to slow the agency's systems but didn't do so in a meaningful way according to a source. A tweet from the National Security Council was later posted in response to rumors that the US was headed toward a nationwide quarantine.

This is a developing story and we will bring you more on the story as it becomes available.
