Staff Sergeant Retired Travis Mills is funny, inspiring, and wants to help other wounded veterans adjust to everyday life.

SSgt. Mills has started a foundation to bring in veterans that have been wounded overseas, that are no longer wounded. They are calibrated warriors, who might need help in learning how to get back into everyday life such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, swimming, and just overall, get their confidence back.

Initially, after becoming a quadruple amputee, SSgt. Mills didn't see any worth in living. He told his wife to leave him, and take everything that they had. Including their six month old daughter...It was her that made him realize that he had everything left to offer.

She didn't look at him as being or looking different. This made him pick himself up, and do everything in his power to be the man he knew he could be.

When the doctors told him it would take three years to get back to normal, and used to wearing his new arms and legs, he shrugged that off, and did it in 13 months!
