Popular Lafayette Restaurants that are Now Gone

I like to reminisce. Remember things from my childhood that I never realized could be gone one day.

Lafayette is full of great restaurants. From burgers to barbecue; plate lunches to fine dining; Mexican, Asian, and Cajun cuisine; and everything in between, there is something for everyone's pallet in the Hub City.

While the food is diverse, the competition is also fierce. Restaurants that could make it in other cities sometimes struggle in Lafayette as restaurants have to be at their best just to be able to keep the doors open.

There are some great restaurants that are no longer in Lafayette. Some were childhood favorites of mine. Others I wish I had been able to try out for myself.
