Party City Will Close Even More Stores Before Year’s End

Party City will close more stores than originally announced in May.

Walgreen's announced last week that it would be closing 200 stores throughout the U.S. and now Party City will be closing more of its locations. Back in May, Party City said it would close 45 stores to deal with a helium shortage. The company has increased that number to 55 because of helium and increasing freight costs, according to USA Today

Party City has not released a full list of closing stores, but with more set to close, it's not impossible that the Lafayette location could close.
