OWI Checkpoint Scheduled For Friday Night In Lafayette

Lafayette Police will be conducting an OWI Checkpoint Friday night.

Spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton says it’ll happen somewhere within the incorporated limits of Lafayette between the hours of 9 pm and 3 am.

“Designate a driver if you intend to drink, by not doing so, it could result in costly fines and serious jail time,” says Mouton.

Officers will respond with zero tolerance.
