Nola: Life, Death, & Heavy Blues From The Bayou is a new documentary from Noisey that tells the stories of how the New Orleans metal scene came to be, from the people who lived them.
The documentary stars Philip H. Anselmo (Housecore Records, DOWN, ex-PANTERA), Mike IX Williams (EYEHATEGOD), Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, DOWN, SUPERJOINT RITUAL), Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR, ex-DOWN), Pepper Keenan (CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, DOWN), and Sammy Duet (GOATWHORE, ex-ACID BATH), among others.
The documentary will be split up into a 7 part series. It will air on the Noisey site on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 16th and concluding on October 7th.
