Mark Ingram will spend the rest of the 2015 season on the sideline.

While the rest of the Saints still have four more weeks to play until they can look to the 2016 season, New Orleans Saints starting tailback, Mark Ingram, has been placed on IR with a shoulder injury.

Ingram has been on the injury report for a few weeks due to the injury, but after tests were run, it was decided that it would be best if he sits out the rest of the year.

Ingram racked up 769 yards on the season, which set him up for his first 1,000 season, but that won't happen.

The running backs that are still on the Saints active roster are C.J. Spiller, Marcus Murphy, and Tim Hightower.

Ingram signed a four-year extension in the off-season, so he'll remain a Saint until at least 2018.
