New Orleans Saints Free Safety Jairus Byrd Placed On Season Ending IR

When bad gets worse.

Sean Payton announced today that starting free safety Jairus Byrd has been placed on season ending injured reserve with a torn meniscus.

Byrd suffered the injury in Thursday's practice.

Byrd has started all four games this season, and has the teams only turnover.
