Not long after he was seen running for the first time since his ACL surgery that sidelined him for most of the 2021 season, Jameis Winston has returned to his wild workouts that he's become known for.

Jameis Winston's Wild Workouts

You've probably seen Jameis' workouts before that made you tilt your head like a dog looking confused after you pretended to throw a ball. Whether it was using an actual dog and towel, having guys try and knock the ball loose with fighting pads, or lifting weights while balancing on a medicine ball type contraption, Winston has always has some interesting training techniques.

I'm no trainer. Obviously, there's a method to the madness. I'm just glad to see that he's looking healthy after tearing his ACL in week 8 of last season.

As far as his wild workouts go, there's always some kind of new thing he's doing. And it seems to work for him.

New and Improved Football Workouts

Jameis isn't a squat, clean and press kind of guy like most workouts seen from other NFL players. He's always seeming to out-do his wild workouts. Now that he's running again, it seems he's back to doing the workouts that we love to see!

In the video below, we really get three in one. The first has Jameis sitting on a medicine ball, trying not to let his feet touch the ground, while his trainer is trying to knock the ball loose.

The second video has him jerking his torso with a resistance band at a rapid pace. Probably a little more traditional than his other workouts.

Then comes the third video that sees him in a one-handed pushup position on a balance trainer catching and throwing a ball with his non-grounded hand.

While Jameis is a soon-to-be free agent, we still have high hopes for the once Saints starting quarterback, and we're glad to see he is looking like he'll be ready to take the field come the start of the 2022 season!
