Last year we told you about a new Pee-wee Herman movie that was in the works. Well, it's coming to fruition, as Netflix has picked up Pee-wee's Big Holiday!

Paul Reubens, of course, will return as man-child Pee-wee Herman. Judd Apatow will still be producing as previously mentioned.

The others that may not have previously been mentioned are newcomer to the directing chair John Lee, and Reubens co-wrote the script with Paul Rust (who was a story editor on Netflix's restart of Arrested Development).

"A fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny."

Filming will begins in March. No official release date has been set, BUT to hold you over, Pee-wee's Playhouse is currently streaming on Netflix.

This is the first feature length film for Pee-wee since 1988's Big Top Pee-wee, the follow up to 1985's Pee-wee's Big Adventure.
