Muhammad Ali, mostly considered the greatest boxer to ever have stepped in the ring, has passed away Friday at the age of 74.

According to a family spokesperson, Ali has been in a Phoenix-area hospital for the last couple weeks batting respiratory problems. Born Cassius Clay, Ali has been battling Parkinson's Disease for the last 25+ years.

The funeral services will be held in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
