Former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr has been jailed for drug possession after trying the “Do you know who I am?” on the arresting officers. In Salt Lake City, Utah, police pulled over the van he was travelling in after it crossed a central reservation. One officer reported seeing Starr popping pills as he approached the vehicle. Repotedly, Mike Starr told the police “Hey, officer, have you heard of Alice in Chains? I used to be the bass guitarist.
