Two names that are rather huge right now are Assassin's Creed (they have a new game coming out at the end of this month) and Michael Fassbender (everyone was talking about something else bigger than his career right now! Eeeeee). Those two will become one in a new movie adaptation of the popular Assassin's Creed game from New Regency/Ubisoft! Check out the details.

The series, which features a man traveling back in time to operate in the shadows of various historical events, has sold 38 million units of its four games since the franchise launched in 2007.

"Bringing aboard New Regency’s renowned production and distribution expertise while maintaining our own creative and financial flexibility ensures thatAssassin’s Creed will be a high-quality film that respects the lore and fans of the video game franchise," Ubisoft Motion Pictures CEO Jean-Julien Baronnet said in a statement.

Can't wait!!! I seem to remember the makers of Assassin's Creed being careful about a movie adaptation because they wanted it to be true to the story and true to the games. So, if they've found that, that's very exciting!
