Memorial Service in honor of fallen soldier Seth Trahan and his family at Northside Christian Church in Crowley at 11:00 AM.
Memorial Day Program at the Rice Theatre in Crowley at 3:00 PM.
Memorial Service in honor of fallen soldier Seth Trahan at Bethel Church in Jennings at 9:00 and 10:30 AM.
Memorial Day "Songs of Remembrance" Concert presented by the Lafayette Concert Band at Bayou Church on Kaliste Saloom Road at 3:30 PM.
Monday, May 30
Annual Memorial Day Program at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery in Lafayette at 9:00 AM
Memorial Day ceremony sponsored by the Abbeville Garden Club - Blue Star and Yellow Star memorial markers and a Prisoner of War memorial marker will be unveiled throughout the city.The events occur from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
1st unveiling-Vermilion War Memorial on Concord Street by the Courthouse
2nd unveiling-Louisiana Hall of Fame and Military Museum at 911 Revis Sermon Loop
3rd unveiling-Louisiana National Guard Amory at 3415 Veterans Memorial Drive
Memorial Day service hosted by Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery at 2111 Pinhook Rd at 3:00 PM.
