Sour Sedans is a band composed of Lafayette, Louisiana local rock veterans Ryan Cazares, Flint Zerangue, and Buck Andrus, along with newcomer Eric Bospflug. With influences ranging from the bands of the 1970's to the present day, the foursome explores all depths of rock, from ballads to blues to alternative to anthems. Brought together by a Craigslist posting, Sour Sedans look to help revitalize the rock scene of Lafayette. As of 2013, Sour Sedans has an album released and has played with national touring bands such as Fuel, Sevendust, Pop-Evil, Dash Rip Rock, Taddy Porter, Digital Summer, and Candlelight Red.

Presenting new sounds with old soul, Makers Reel blends pop charm with a rock and roll heart. Hailing from Kaplan, Louisiana, Brett Hebert, Seth Rung, and Michael Rung have known each other since childhood and crossed paths until common roots birthed a musical bond in 2009. Since then, they have honed in on melodic songcraft and power-pop. The group is currently working on a new album with producer Chris Stafford at Staffland Studio in Lafayette.

Sassafras Jubilee is a quartet that joyously blends the most endearing currents in American music — country, jazz, pop, blues, Dixieland, swamp pop, bluegrass and anything that swings — into a lively celebration that is at once familiar yet uniquely their own. The band evolved from an old-style Appalachian jug band into its current string-band ensemble over a few months in 2012, undergoing several personnel changes in the meantime. The current lineup made its public debut in the fall of 2012. Members Adam Cohen (drums), Andrea Cohen (fiddle, vocals, mandolin), Walter Pierce (vocals, banjo, guitar) and Brent Williams (bass, vocals) have been and currently are fixtures in other popular and seminal musical groups in Lafayette, bringing a diverse yet complementary musical skill set to Sassafras Jubilee. The band is currently in the studio with Grammy-winning producer Ivan Klisanin recording its debut album with a release date tentatively set for early 2014.

With Lafayette natives The Onlies' sophomore release they have discovered that the road truly has opened for them. "Open Road" was produced by Grammy nominated producer and engineer Terry DuPuy who has worked with Hunter Hayes, Roddie Romero, and Feufollet among many others. Though The Onlies started out as a duo with Fawn Larson and Will Harrison, they have since elected music veteran Gary Newman on upright bass and Luke Andrus on the drums. Larson's siren-like vocals will sweep you in with the ebb and flow of her carefully crafted lyrics while Harrison's playful yet rough edge becomes softened as their melody and harmonies intertwine. Drummer Luke Andrus contributes on the album as well, making his vocal debut on the album's bluesiest track "Pink Motel". The Onlies continue to stick to their folk roots while borrowing from bluegrass, old country, cajun, blues, indie and pop to make one incredibly enjoyable and diverse album. After seeing local and national success with their debut self titled album, including radio airplay, touring, and a spot on the soundtrack of "We Made This Movie" from David Letterman's production company, The Onlies look forward to where "Open Road" will take them this August. With the windows down and the wind in your hair, The Onlies' new album takes you on a trip that will have you tapping your foot and singing along.
