‘Man Of Steel’ Viral Promo Features Michael Shannon As General Zod [Video]

Man Of Steel is the film I am most looking forward to this summer. We only had a teaser and one trailer so far that gives us a look at the Zack Snyder-directed film. The villain in the film is General Zod, played by Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon. In the previous trailer, we only got a quick glimpse of Zod.

The picture above, released last week gives us a good look at the Kryptonian general, who is out to destroy the Earth. But why? Well, this viral video released yesterday gives us a rough motive as why Zod wants to destroy the Earth. He wants the humans to turn over Kal-El, aka Clark Kent, aka Superman, aka the Man of Steel!
