LSU' s defense made two critical stops in the final two minutes, and the Tigers put together a 13-play, 95 yard drive in the fourth quarter to stun #3 Ole Miss 10-7 before 102,321 at Tiger Stadium Saturday night.

The Tigers (7-2, 3-2 SEC) rushed for 264 yards against the vaunted Ole MIss defense and held the ball for 36:00 in the victory.

Anthony Jennings hit Logan Stokes with the game winning pass after running the football for the first twelve plays of the drive.  The three yard pass was Stokes' first reception of the season.

LSU's defense held Ole MIss (7-1, 3-1) to just 313 yards of offense in the game.  The Tigers stopped quarterback Bo Wallace on a fourth and one. Ole Miss used its timeouts to get the ball back with 1:19 left and drove from their own 25 to the LSU 25.  Ole Miss lined up for a 42 yard field goal attempt but was flagged for delay of game.  Ole MIss coach Hugh Freeze put his offense back in the game, but the move backfired when Wallace was intercepted at the two yard line by Ronald Martin to seal the victory.

LSU won the game despite four turnovers and a missed field goal.  LSU was led by freshman Leonard Fournette with 113 yards on 23 carries.  Jennings was 8-16 for 142 yards.  He was intercepted twice.

Wallace led the Rebels in rushing with 40 yards on twelve carries.  He completed just 14-33 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown.

LSU will take next week off before hosting Alabama on November 8th.
