Louisiana Ranks High In Speed Traps Per State

Louisiana has ranked high in many "worst" lists in the past, and now we can definitely say that it ranks very high on the "worst speed traps in every state list".

According to thrillist.com, Louisiana ranks number 7 on this list. In their description, the worst speed trap city is Baton Rouge. Being from Vermilion Parish, I can say that Maurice is definitely the worst. Their research show that there are 28.5 speed traps per every 100,000 residents.

They also note that in North Louisiana, the stretch of road on LA Highway 65, from Lake Providence to the southern border of Arkansas, is one area that you may want to keep your eyes peeled for state troopers.
