A Louisiana man was arrested after agents found him in possession of drugs and "too many sharks" in his boat.

According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, 44-year-old Anouda Lirette was arrested after agents found him to be in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia back on July 26. Lirette was in Oyster Bayou, just south of Lost Lake in Terrebonne Parish when agents allegedly saw him throw a shark overboard.

During their compliance check, agents say Lirette threw the shark overboard because he was over the limit as they found him to be in possession of an undersized shark.

Reactions on social media poured in as people were shocked to hear about the bust.

Of course, there were jokes, but many of those who commented were genuinely curious to know how many sharks were "too many."

Apparently, this wasn't the first time Lirette had been popped with drugs while hunting or fishing as LDWF has already had previous run-ins with the man. According to this report from Louisiana Sportsman, he was busted with dead seagulls, a rifle, meth, and weed back in June of 2017.

Lirette was taken into custody and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail.

He currently faces fines of over $5,500 and two years in jail.
