Louisiana Declares State Of Emergency Due To Imminent Flooding Of Mississippi & Red Rivers

Governor Bobby Jindal has issued a state of emergency for Louisiana due to the imminent threat of flooding along the Mississippi River, Red River and other state bodies of water.

National Weather Service expects the Mississippi River to reach flood stage by as early as this Sunday, and potentially 44 feet by January 19. Here’s what you can expect to experience at the different stages of flooding from nola.com:
