Louisiana COVID-19 Update for Saturday, March 28
The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting 3,315 cases of COVID-19 throughout the State, 130 of those in Acadiana.
As of Saturday, March 28, the 12 pm update reports 137 people have died in Louisiana from COVID-19 (coronavirus).
There are 7 Acadiana deaths from COVID-19 being reported.
According to Johns Hopkins, the total number of recovered cases across the U.S. is 895. Their data currently shows there are no recovered cases of COVID-19 in Acadiana being reported at this time.

Lafayette - 48 cases, 1 death
Calcasieu - 28 cases, 1 death
St. Martin- 13 cases, 3 deaths
St. Landry - 10 cases
Acadia - 9 cases, 1 death
St. Mary- 7 cases
Evangeline - 4 cases
Iberia - 9 cases
Vermilion - 3 cases, 1 death
Jeff Davis - 1 case
Louisiana is reporting cases in 56 of 64 Parishes.
