Local businesses are growing in awesome ways since Hollywood has embraced Louisiana. We've told you that Louisiana was number one in the world for movie shoots last year. It still continues to grow!

Future and current shoots going on in Louisiana are "Fantastic Four," ''Terminator 5," ''Pitch Perfect 2" and "Jurassic World." The television series "NCIS: New Orleans" and "American Horror Story: Freak Show" are also being shot in Louisiana this summer.

What draws big budget movies to Louisiana is of course the tax credits that are offered. Louisiana offers tax credits of up to 40 percent of the money spent to buy, build and use movie production facilities.

There are many jobs that are created due to movies being shot here. Growing jobs include studios, sound stages, special effects, casting, costume rental, post-production and editing.

Take, also, Andre Champagne, a Louisiana native. His business Hollywood Trucks LLC. Since opening his business in 2007 after moving back from Los Angeles, his business has grown exponentially.

In it's first year, the company grossed around $600,000. Last year, the company grossed $5 million! They started out with seven vehicles, and have now expanded to more than 300, including luxury trailers used by Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Ben Affleck and Chris Rock.

Even Hollywood great, and New Orleans resident, John Goodman weighed in on the influx of filming in Louisiana:

"It's exciting. It just is," said actor John Goodman, who starred in the New Orleans-shot HBO series "Treme" and moved to New Orleans from Los Angeles in the 1990s. "I don't like to see Los Angeles getting hammered, but it's nice to see so much business down here."
