Lingerie Football League Fired ‘Incompetent’ Referee Crews That Are Now Officiating In The NFL

Lots and lots and lots have been said about the scab refs, replacement referees, or however you want to identify these guys that are officiating in place of the real NFL referee crews due to them being on strike. Blame has been put on everyone from the replacement refs themselves to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell (that's a link to his twitter account btw) for not protecting the integrity of the league. Some of the replacement referee crews come from places like the Lingerie Football League. It turns out, they couldn't even cut it there! Check out what the LFL's Commish had to say about those crews being incompetent and more! 

From the Lingerie Football League's facebook page, Commissioner Mitchell Mortaza says:

"Because of the LFL's perception it is that much more critical for us to hire officiating crews that are competent, not only for the credibility of our game but to keep our athletes safer. Due to several on-field incompetent officiating we chose to part ways with with a couple crews which apparently are now officiating in the NFL. We have a lot of respect for our officials but we felt the officiating was not in line with our expectations.

We have not made public comment to date because we felt it was not our place to do so. However in light of tonight's event, we felt it was only fair that NFL fans knew the truth as to who are officiating these games"

No offense to the LFL, but I wouldn't put them anywhere near the NFL. As I'm sure the LFL believes in it's talents and entertainment value, they have to know that it doesn't quite fit in with the talent and respectability of the NFL. And some these referees who are now officiating NFL games were too INCOMPETENT to officiate LFL games??? Come on, Roger!!! Seriously!
