All is well again with Louisiana State and its football coach, Les Miles, or at least until the next loss stirs up the Tigers’ faithful. Miles said Tuesday that he would stay at L.S.U., turning away overtures from Michigan Athletic Director Dave Brandon, a former teammate of Miles’s at Michigan.

Miles and L.S.U. finished 11-2 this season — his fourth 11-victory season in six years — but not before Tigers fans voiced their frustration after a lucky win against Tennessee, and losses to Auburn and to Arkansas."
