Leonard Fournette Says “It’s A Fact” That LSU Will Beat Alabama
Confidence goes a long way in the world of athletics. The will to win and the belief that you can vanquish your opponent is the mindset of many participants in sporting endeavours.
Leonard Fournette is a confident player. He is also very good at what he does. What he does is carry the football and sometimes the entire LSU offense when he plays completely healthy. Such was the case in Fournette's dominating performance against SEC rival Ole Miss this past Saturday.
The LSU Tigers will take this weekend off. They usually do in order to really prepare for their biggest rival and roadblock to college football greatness, the University of Alabama. If you are even a slight fan of college football you're familiar with the Crimson Tide. They are currently on a 20 game winning streak. They are a really good football team and they are coached by former LSU head coach Nick Saban.
There is no love lost between the two schools. For LSU this is always the game of the season. For Alabama, beating LSU is key to a SEC and National Championship. That's why Leonard Fournette's statement on the TV show SEC Now on the SEC Network has taken some fans by surprise. When asked by host Peter Burns during a "Fact or Fiction" segment on the show Fournette responded to Burns question this way.
Will LSU will beat Alabama this year? "Fact."
