Leonard Fournette Donates Trophies For A New Use
You can just about imagine former LSU running back Leonard Fournette has accumulated a lot of trophies during his football career.
It seems the collection of 700 trophies he has earned takes up a lot of space. And fortunately for a Florida high school, the trophied hold no sentimental value for the NFL rookie. Fournette has found a new use for the trophies.
The newly drafted Jacksonville Jaguars player has donated his trophies to a Jacksonville-area high school. But hey won't be displayed in a case. Instead, the trophies will be melted down and used for an entire weight set for a Jacksonville-area high school.
Jacksonville's Raines High School will get the new training equipment.
Fournette says his trophies were sitting at home collecting dust and so he figured why not put them to good use.
