LDH: September 29th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, September 29th.
There have been 165,624 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 553 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 578 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 35 more hospitalizations than yesterday.
80 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 3 more reported patients on a ventilator than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,308. That is 10 more reported deaths since yesterday.
149,640 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 21th. That's 4,070 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,969 total cases, 132 total deaths
