87% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread.

35% of the cases reported today are of individuals aged 29 and under.

Numbers show that there are 1,025 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized - 61 more than were reported yesterday.

109 patients are on ventilators across the state.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 increased by 23 to 3,211.

As of today, 43,026 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 6,809 with 260 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 3,000 total cases, 48 total deaths
