Lafayette UFC Fighter Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones Staredown Erupts Into Brawl At MGM Grand [Video]

Lafayette native, and UFC fighter Daniel Cormier was having a short lived staredown with light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. It was short lived, because Cormier shoved Jones, and a BRAWL erupted! You can watch the video.

The brawl destroyed the stage, and sent security into a frenzy trying to contain the fighters.

Things you can't see in the video:

- After the fighters fell to the floor (through the backdrop) Jones continued to throw punches at Cormier.
-Cormier, with his hands now held behind his back by security, began kicking at Jones in the head.
- After being separated by security, Jones went back on the stage, turned his face to the ceiling, and let out a ferocious howl like the GD Hulk!

Jones and Cormier are scheduled to compete in the main event at UFC 178 on September 27th in Vegas.
