The upcoming season of 'The Amazing Race' will feature a little bit of local flavor.

Sisters Michelle and Victoria Newland will be featured on Season 32 of the popular CBS reality game show in which teams of two race around the world. The season premiere of 'The Amazing Race' is coming up on October 14th and we'll have to tune in to find out what kind of adventures the sisters get into (trust me, I've tried to squeeze it out of Michelle and she's not talking!) as they compete with 10 other teams for $1 million!

Hosted by Phil Keoghan, Season 32 of 'The Amazing Race' will feature 11 teams (filmed before the coronavirus outbreak) that will kick off their adventures in Los Angeles and travel to Trinidad and Tobago before globe-trotting to places like Germany, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and more. The show can be seen on CBS and CBS All Access.

As far as the Newland girls go, Michelle is 34 and currently works at Moss BMW in luxury automotive sales. She describes herself as "energetic, entertaining, and extra." Her reason for joining 'The Amazing Race' was too make unforgettable memories with a sister that she calls her best friend and a soulmate.

Victoria (who goes by "Vic") is 33 and currently works as a Physician auditor/consultant and educator at ACS Medical Business Solutions. She describes herself as a go-getter who is "kind-hearted and curious." Other than winning the million-dollar prize, Vic says she joined 'The Amazing Race' for the "crazy and unforgettable adventure" with her sister that will make memories for a lifetime while they simultaneously "kick butt."

Lafayette is no stranger to reality television as we have had contestants and participants on just about everything from MTV's Real World to numerous game shows singing competitions.

Good luck to the girls and here's to Michelle and Victoria continuing the trend of putting Cajun Country on the network television screen!
