The City of Lafayette is giving the green light to Trick-or-Treating this year, along with some helpful tips on avoiding the spread of the coronavirus.

According to our news partners at KATC TV3, Trick-or-Treating for Lafayette will be from 6-8pm on Halloween night. This year's celebration might be the best in recent years: it's on a Saturday AND it's during a full moon!

Some of the common-sense recommendations put forth by the city include sanitizing between houses, wearing a mask for scaring AND for preventing the spread of COVID-19, and only hanging out with your immediate family/friends. Remember, if you or the kids are feeling ill or showing symptoms, it is recommended you NOT go Trick-or-Treating.

KATC also provided a link for Trick-or-Treat times in other parts of Acadiana.
