Here’s a heads-up on traffic for Tuesday. Lafayette Police will be escorting two large pieces of oilfield equipment starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday May 7, 2013.
Police will begin their escort at the intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and I-10. The escort will travel down Ambassador Caffery to Johnston Street and then travel south on Johnston Street to West Broussard Road.
Lafayette Police says the escort will be moving at slow speeds and intersections will be shutdown as the equipment maneuvers past them. Drivers should expect delays as the move is expected to take several hours.
