Lafayette Police Search For Suspect After Stabbing
Lafayette Police have issued an arrest warrant for Gage Venable after he is alleged to have stabbed three people at around 1:30 this morning in a parking lot at 121 East Kaliste Saloom Road.
The arrest warrant for Gage is for Principal to Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
Police say they came to the scene and found three men who had been stabbed. One was stabbed in the chest, one in the stomach and the third was stabbed on his right arm.
The victims told police that they were approached by two men who asked them where a certain individual was, but the victims told the two men they didn't know that person.
The two white or Hispanic males then left, but came back about twenty minutes later with two other guys.
The two groups began fighting, when the victims allege that one suspect pulled out the knife and started stabbing them.

The victims are two 19-year-old men, one from Morse, the other from Indian Bayou and a 21-year-old man from Austin, Texas.
