Lafayette Parks and Rec Cancels Summer Youth Programs

Two summer programs hosted every year by Lafayette Parks and Recreation have been canceled amid closures due to COVID-19. In a release, the department said the Summer Enrichment Camp and Program as well as the Therapeutic Day camp would not be administered. These programs served young people in the Lafayette community. Organizers say the current COVIC-19 social distancing guidelines are the reason for the change.
