Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies Investigating Dead Body
A dead body found Tuesday in Lafayette Parish is the result of a homicide.
That's according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office. Spokesman Captain Craig Stansbury says 50-year-old Igancio Juarez was found dead in a home on 505 Marigny Circle Apartment A after deputies investigated a foul smell coming from that area. Investigators say it appears Juarez has been dead for several days, determining that due to the decomposition of state of his body.
Deputies continue to investigate as the complete autopsy has not yet been completed.
