Lafayette Massage Parlor Shut Down After Officer Solicited for Sex During Undercover Narcotics Sting
A Lafayette massage parlor has been shut down after police conducted an undercover operation on Tuesday (8/23).
According to Sgt. Robin Green with the Lafayette Police Department, authorities received information that "illegal prostitution and drug transactions were occurring at a business located at 118 Arnould Blvd.
When the Lafayette Narcotics Unit conducted their operation at the business (MK Foot Relax), an undercover officer "was solicited for sex by the female masseuse."
After the narcotics unit obtained and executed a search warrant, 53-year-old female Yu Yan was arrested and charged with Soliciting for Prostitution.
Yan was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and the business has been shut down for the time being.
