UPDATE: Suspect Sought In 9th Street Homicide

UPDATE 5:15 p.m.: Lafayette Police have obtained footage of a suspect and a vehicle of interest.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender black male. 

An anonymous witness advised that the pictured vehicle was in the area during the time of the shooting.

The vehicle appears to be a newer model white 4-door Chevrolet Impala.

A Lafayette man is dead after a shooting early this morning.

Lafayette Police say it happened in the 1000 block of Ninth Street, where 20-year-old Tyler Etienne was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect. Detectives say they are looking for a black male suspect based on witness accounts at this time.
