Lafayette Man Dies in Overnight Crash on University Avenue
46-year-old Joseph Bossier of Lafayette is dead after his vehicle crashed into another shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
In a press release, Lafayette Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Griffin says the crash happened in the 1800 block of W. University Avenue when Bossier vehicle crossed the center line and struck a vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
Officers continue to investigate as it's unknown why Bossier's vehicle crossed over the center line.
