Lafayette indie-rockers Brass Bed stopped by The A.V. Club in Chicago, and covered Van Hagar's "Why Can't This Be Love."

When Brass Bed was touring the Midwest, they learned that they'd be doing a cover song for The A.V. Club in Chicago. The club does A.V. Undercover where they have a list of 25 songs on a list that dwindles as they get bands to come in and cover them.

When asked why they chose "Why Can't This Be Love," out of the 7 or 8 songs that were left, singer/guitarist Christiaan Mader jokingly (or maybe not) said he was enamored with playing a Van Halen song, and taking all of the chest hair off of it.
