Kevin Smith Has Lost 43 Pounds In 4 Months Since His Heart Attack [Pic]
Kevin Smith suffered a "widow maker" heart attack just four months ago. His doctor told him he needs to lose 50 pounds. The 47-year-old Smith has lost 43 of the 50 pounds in just four months.
Smith credits Weight Watchers and magician Penn Jillette for his ease of losing weight and keeping it off. Jillette wrote a book called “Presto!: How I Made Over 100 Pounds Disappear and Other Magical Tales” in which he details his diet.
In less than two weeks following his near-fatal heart attack, Smith had already dropped 20 pounds. Now, the writer/director/actor/speech giver says that he's the thinnest he's been as an adult since he graduated high school.
In fact, last month, he shared a side-by-side picture of him from 10 years ago and one of him from that day. The difference is staggering. It looks like two different people.
Just seven more pounds to go! Good luck to Kevin Smith on his weight loss journey, and here's hoping he's able to keep it off!
