Journey have announced a 60-date tour of North America with the Pretenders serving as their opening act next year.

The news comes after Journey took off most of 2019 to work on other projects.

The shows will begin on May 15 at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Wash., and conclude on Sept. 12 at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 8 at 10AM local time. There's a pre-sale for American Express cardholders that begins Nov. 4 and another for Citi cardholders starting Nov. 5. Both begin at 10AM local time.

You can see all the dates below and get full ticketing information at Journey's website.

The band's entire tour calendar for 2019 has consisted of a handful of dates in casinos in the Northeast in September and October, followed by nine shows at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. They'll close out this year with four more nights in Vegas between Dec. 27 and Dec. 31.

Earlier this year, Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde released a solo covers album called Valve Bone Woe that focused on her love of jazz and standards, though she also made room for songs by the Kinks and Nick Drake. In March, she said she had anticipated a new Pretenders album to be completed this year, but there's been no further word on its progress.
