Josh Brolin Got Ripped To Play Cable In ‘Deadpool 2′ [Pic]

If you know anything about Cable in the comics, he's a large dude. Josh Brolin had to pack on the muscle to play him, and it appears as if he succeeded.

Brolin is making his comic book rounds. He's played Jonah Hex, he'll be playing Thanos in the Avengers movies, and now, he's taking on Deadpool as Cable in the next installment of that series.

Because of Thanos' physicality, it appears that he will be mostly CGI. While Cable will have some prosthetic areas, the majority of it will be Brolin himself. Leaving the only way for him to play the character is to beef up.

Ryan Reynolds himself says that Brolin is lining up to make an "epic" Cable.
