Jeunesse Fest (pronounced “jen-ess”), is a one-day festival featuring 11 bands of all genres, all youth musicians of South Louisiana. It will be held on Saturday, November 16th at The Feed And Seed from noon till midnight.

The show is all ages and the admission is “pay what you want.” In addition to the music inside The Feed and Seed, there will be a food truck round up outside. Alcohol will also be available for 21 and up.

Tandem will be headlining and goes on at 10pm sharp. The 2013 lineup will also include Selfawarewolf, The New Form, Nights & Nights, Paper Chain People and 6 other youth inspired bands.

The organization’s goal (4 Jeunesse Group) is to help kids utilize their musical talents while learning life skills that are transferable whether or not they pursue music as a profession. 4 Jeunesse Group is a non-profit founded by youth performing artists and adults supporting performing arts in Lafayette, Louisiana.  The mission of the group is to educate its young members through the medium of music that will enrich their lives and develop transferable business skills.
