Jennings Man Attempts ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ Move, Falls Into Police Custody

A Jennings man is in jail on multiple drug related counts after attempting a Dukes of Hazzard inspired jump in his pickup truck.

Morgan J. Lyons was leading police on a chase from Lake Charles to Cameron Parish when he came to a pontoon swing bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway near Grand Lake. Instead of giving up, he tried to give it a go...and failed.

Lyons was not injured in the failed jump, but was arrested.
