The sound might be worse than the visual!

Former LSU baseball player, and current third baseman and outfielder for the Detroit Tigers, JaCoby Jones was at bat over the weekend. A 90 MPH fastball ended up heading straight at his head, and he wasn't able to move out of the way in time.

The sound of the hit just might be worse than actually seeing him get hit in the face with a ball going that fast.

In pure natural reaction, Jones jumped right up after being hit in an almost "Just walk it off" kinda way.

He was placed on the disabled list after the hit. Here's a better look at the aftermath of a face, and a 90 MPH baseball colliding.
