This election cycle in Louisiana and across the country has undoubtedly generated a myriad of emotions among people about who they will support in the presidential election and Congressional races when Election Day 2024 rolls around. If you plan to vote early, we have the information you need to know.

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 5 as everyone decides who to vote for the office of President of the United States, and some across Louisiana people will also be choosing the Congressional candidate they want to have in office.

One of the most important things about early voting is that you are asked by Secretary of State Nancy Landry to bring your picture ID. If you also have your voter card, you can bring that as well. Having everything in hand when going to early voting just makes the experience easier for you and those people working at the early voting locations.
