A now-viral TikTok video captured the scene that can only be described as pure, unfiltered joy — the kind that bubbles up like a bottle of Diet Coke the second you drop in a Mentos. The clip shows an 8-year-old boy on the edge of emotional detonation as Dolly’s parade carriage glides into view at Dollywood’s opening day celebration.

He starts off excited enough — waving, chanting “Oh my God!” over and over with the wide-eyed wonderment of someone seeing a real-life fairy godmother. But then… it happens.

According to a report from KNOX News, Dolly’s surprise appearance came just two weeks after the passing of her husband, Carl Dean. She greeted fans during the Dollywood parade as part of the park’s 40th season kickoff and “I Will Always Love You” Music Festival. But out of the thousands who showed up — there was one fan who lived the dream for all of us.
