Texas Lottery – Mega Millions Ticket Just Misses Jackpot

The ticket matched all five of the white balls but did not make a match on the Mega Ball.
Our sources at the Texas Lottery have confirmed the Match 5 Million win in Florida and they're also confirming these prizes from Tuesday's game in Texas. We know that there were 44,347 tickets sold in Texas that earned a prize of at least $4. There were 37 tickets that can lay claim to a prize of $500 and another 15 tickets sold in Texas that can lay claim to a prize of $2,000. In fact, $2,000 was the largest single prize a Texas ticket won in Tuesday's drawing.
Tonight there will be a Powerball drawing. The estimated annuitized jackpot in that drawing is $39 million. The lump sum payout is estimated to be $18.6 million. There will also be a drawing tonight in the Lotto Texas with Extra! game. That game surprisingly has not gotten a winner. I say surprisingly because our spreadsheet stats suggested that Lotto Texas should have made a winner about two weeks ago.
That's my subtle way of letting you know, I think someone is about to hit big on this game. The top prize is $34.75 million. Again, the drawing in that game is tonight, Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
